STEVIE NICKS THOUGHT THE WORLD HAD STOPPED TAKING COCAINE

Former FLEETWOOD MAC star STEVIE NICKS was convinced people had stopped taking cocaine after her stint in rehab for drug addiction in the 1980s. The U.S. singer, 59, spent a brief spell at the Betty Ford Clinic in California in an attempt to kick her 10-year drug habit - and has previously admitted to spending at least $1 million (GBP500,000) on her addiction. But she confesses she was naive to think everyone had quit the drug when she did. She says, "I thought the whole world had stopped, but it turns out they were just being respectful."
