British pop star RACHEL STEVENS was caught up in a terrifying gun attack at a London restaurant - just days after robbers stole her engagement ring.
The former S Club 7 singer was dining with her family at Harry Morgan in north London on Friday evening (26Jun09) when a gunman carrying two pistols and wearing a motorbike helmet chased another man into the busy eaterie.
The gunman opened fire and shot a man five times in the leg, reports Britain's Daily Mail Online.
A spokeswoman for Stevens said the star was shocked but unharmed, and had returned home after the incident.
She adds, "Rachel and her family were dining at a restaurant where gunshots were fired. It was a frightening experience for everybody there but none of the diners were hurt."
The 31 year old was attacked at the front door of her north London home earlier this month (09Jun09) by thieves who stole her engagement ring, a necklace and a Rolex watch.
