STERN'S ARRAIGNMENT MOVED FORWARD
ANNA NICOLE SMITH's former-lawyer-turned-lover HOWARD STERN will be back in court a month earlier than previously scheduled - the date of his arraignment has been moved forward.
Stern faces charges, along with two doctors, of conspiring to keep the late model with a steady supply of prescription drugs - despite knowing she was an addict.
Smith died of an accidental overdose of prescription drugs in a Florida hotel room in 2007 and prosecutors are now said to be re-investigating the events leading up to the tragedy following the arrest of Stern, along with Dr. Sandeep Kapoor and Dr. Khristine Eroshevich in mid-March (09).
Stern was due to be arraigned in a Los Angeles court on 13 May (09) but the date has now been changed to 7 April (09) - the same day Eroshevich will appear in court, according to Access Hollywood.
The two doctors face an additional charge of obtaining a prescription for opiates by fraud, deceit or misrepresentation and prescribing opiates by giving a false name or address.
All three face up to 33 years behind bars if found guilty of all charges.
