STEREOPHONICS REUNITED WITH STUART CABLE

STEREOPHONICS frontman Kelly Jones has revealed that former drummer Stuart Cable made an impromptu appearance with the band at a wedding they both attended.

Cable was part of the original line-up of the Welsh rockers, but was sacked back in September 2003.

However, it seems they may have patched up their differences after Cable got behind the kit at the surprise show.

Speaking to Xfm, Jones said: "Parting ways with Stuart was a really horrible time for everybody involved. Thankfully all that water's under the bridge now, we speak to each other again. We even played at a wedding again the other day pissed up together onstage."

He explained that he and Cable were brought up on the same street, so the band was not something that was crucial to their friendship.

"We were friends a lot longer than we were ever in a band together," said Jones.

Elsewhere, the band have denied they are recording a song with OASIS and the champion boxers Ricky Hatton and Joe Calzaghe.
