STEREOPHONICS FIGHT TO SAVE EMPLOYEES' JOBS
Rock band STEREOPHONICS have been fighting to save the jobs of staff at their record label V2 - after the company merged with industry giants Mercury Records. The Welsh rockers were so desperate to prevent employees from being axed, they made demands to their new label to keep team members on. Frontman Kelly Jones says, "We've got to look at it as a positive. We were the first band V2 signed and of course it's complicated but we're looking forward to meeting a new team and have kept some people on, like our Scottish plugger Neil Adams."
