STEFANI TOPS EUROPEAN SINGLES CHART

GWEN STEFANI is enjoying a second week atop the European singles chart with her AKON collaboration THE SWEET ESCAPE, keeping a double blast of NELLY FURTADO at bay. The Sweet Escape, the title track from Stefani's sophomore album, keeps NELLY FURTADO's ALL GOOD THINGS (COME TO AN END) and SAY IT RIGHT at numbers two and three respectively. In fourth place is ROBBIE WILLIAMS FEAT. PET SHOP BOYS with SHE'S MADONNA, while his former bandmates TAKE THAT are at number five with SHINE. Meanwhile, Furtado is in pole position in the European albums chart with LOOSE. Rockers ARCADE FIRE are at number two with NEON BIBLE, while NORAH JONES' NOT TOO LATE is at number three, KAISER CHIEFS' YOURS TRULY, ANGRY MOB and HERBERT GRONEMEYER's 12 are at four and five respectively.
