STEFANI DEVELOPS OWN SCENT

Music star GWEN STEFANI is letting her fans smell like the pop icon after she signed on to develop her own signature fragrance. The singer announced on Wednesday (06DEC06) she had signed a global licensing deal with cosmetic brand Coty to develop and market a line of fragrances for her fashion and accessories brand L.A.M.B. The first project, an as-yet-unnamed women's fragrance, is planned for autumn 2007. Stefani joins the ranks of other celebrities with their own scents, including SARAH JESSICA PARKER, HILARY DUFF, PARIS HILTON and JENNIFER LOPEZ. In addition to her singing duties and designing clothing for her three-year-old fashion label L.A.M.B, she has also moved into accessories, having just released a new handbag line, in addition to designing watches and sneakers.
