STATUS QUO GOT DANGER MONEY TO PLAY IN SCOTLAND

STATUS QUO legend FRANCIS ROSSI was paid extra money for gigs in Scotland because it was considered too dangerous to play there. The 58-year-old is heading back to the country as part of the band's latest tour and he is expecting it to be very different to the concerts they played there in the 1970s. He says, "I remember playing Dundee and a fight broke out. "The next day, there were all these women scrubbing the blood off the floor. We used to get extra money to go to Scotland because it was dangerous. "If they didn't like the band, they'd knock the living daylights out of you."
