STATHAM TO CRANK IT UP AGAIN
British action man JASON STATHAM is set for another sequel - he'll reprise his fast-living and dying CHEV CHELIOS character in CRANK 2: HIGH VOLTAGE.
The Italian Job star played a hitman seeking an antidote to the poison villains injected into his system, giving him just hours to live, in the first Crank, which was a surprise hit in 2006.
Statham will reteam with Amy Smart and Dwight Yoakam in the sequel, which will also feature Bai Ling.
Filming begins next week (beg28Apr08) in Los Angeles.
