STARS TO PERFORM CONCERT FOR WAR VETERANS

A host of British pop stars, including GABRIELLE, LULU and rockers THE AUTOMATIC will perform at a special festival to raise money for injured servicemen and women later this year (09).
The Royal British Legion's Festival For Heroes will take place at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire, England on 20 June (09).
The event will also feature rapper Ironik, dance troupe Ultrabeat and classical quartet Escala - with organisers also hoping to attract Sir Elton John for a guest appearance.
Rise hitmaker Gabrielle says, "I am very honoured to have been asked to perform. It is an amazing cause and deserves as much support as possible."
Proceeds from the 30,000-strong crowd will go to help those injured in wars such as Iraq or Afghanistan, and to families of those killed on duty.
