MILEY CYRUS' celebrity friends have rushed to offer her sympathy and support after she scrapped a concert in Omaha, Nebraska on Friday night (02Oct09) due to a sore throat.
The Disney superstar hit the road with her Wonder World Tour last month (Sep09) and the dates have started taking their toll on her health and voice.
During a gig in Salt Lake City, Utah on Tuesday (29Sep09), Cyrus was forced to take a 15-minute break to seek medical attention backstage.
And the star's sore throat has become so painful, she has had to axe her upcoming Omaha gig, prompting a host of stars to post messages on their Twitter.com blogs wishing her well.
High School Musical's Ashley Tisdale writes, "Thinkin (sic) of Miley Cyrus. Hopin (sic) she feels better soon. Xoxo miles!"
Teen star Demi Lovato writes, "Miley Cyrus needs your prayers... get better, love you."
Meanwhile, Cyrus took to the micro-blogging site to apologise to her fans who were expecting to see her perform - and assures them the show will be rescheduled: "Dear Omaha, I am so sorry I can't perform for you tomorrow. This is the first show I have ever missed. I will see you on Oct. 13th."
