STARS SIGN UP FOR RACING SHOW

Pop star JEWEL, GEORGE CLOONEY's ex KRISTA ALLEN and WILLIAM SHATNER are getting behind the wheel for a new celebrity racing show to debut in America this summer (07). The trio are among 12 stars hoping to prove they have a need for speed in reality show FAST CARS + SUPERSTARS. The celebrities teamed up with NASCAR race aces to learn the tricks of the track ahead of the speed trial special, where the stars will whizz around Lowe's Motor Speedway in Charlotte, North Carolina attempting to score the fastest five-lap time. Other stars taking part in the televised racing contest include tennis star SERENA WILLIAMS, surfing hero LAIRD HAMILTON and his wife, volleyball star-turned-model GABRIELLE REECE, and skateboarding icon TONY HAWK.
