STARS LINE-UP FOR VAGINA MONOLOGUES SUPERSHOW

JANE FONDA, OPRAH WINFREY and JESSICA ALBA are to stage the biggest VAGINA MONOLOGUES performance in history at the New Orleans, Louisiana arena where locals sheltered from Hurricane Katrina. A starry line-up will read and act out real-life stories from rape and domestic violence victims at the Superdome in April (08) - and, for the first time, leading men will take part. The SuperLove event will coincide with the 10th anniversary of the Eve Ensler-inspired play - and the author/feminist thinks it's time for men to get involved in women's issues. She says, "Men must be our allies in the next 10 years and own this issues as a human issue, not a women's issue, if we're going to end violence against women and girls."
