STARS HOPE FOR A SLAM DUNK WITH NEW BASKETBALL TEAM

Pop hunk NICK LACHEY and JAMIE LYNN SIGLER's ex-husband AJ DiSCALA have teamed up to back a new Hollywood basketball franchise. The two pals are among the list of celebrity co-owners of new American Basketball Association team the Hollywood Fame. The pro-league team also features wrestler STACY KIEBLER and WILMER VALDERRAMA among its celebrity backers. According to DiScala, the team's players will be comprised of recruited professionals, top amateurs and even select celebrities. The Fame will kick off its inaugural season in November (06), where the team will compete with other celebrity-fuelled teams like the Inglewood Cobras, which features THE GAME as a player/owner and DENNIS RODMAN's Tijuana Dragons.
