STARS HELP NEW ORLEANS REVIVAL
JOSS STONE, JOHN LEGEND and HARRY CONNICK JR have given a supportive hand to the rejuvenation of grief-stricken New Orleans, Louisiana, following 2005's Hurricane Katrina.
The musicians - who were in the American city to perform at its Jazz Festival - have taken time off from performing to aid in the area's rebuilding.
Legend and Connick Jr kicked off the proceedings on Sunday (06May07) by washing clothes at a laundromat and painting a house respectively.
Stone will promote voluntary work later today (07May07).
Dreamgirls star Danny Glover and Democrat politician John Edwards also helped out in the Southern city.
