STARS GO GREEN FOR EARTH DAY FESTIVALS

ZIGGY MARLEY, THE ROOTS, THE NEVILLE BROTHERS and TAJ MAHAL have joined forces with bosses at environmental organisation the Earth Day Network to stage a series of green festivals. The quartet will join other big names at eight planned Green Apple Festival dates dotted across America on Earth Day (20Apr08). Other groups lined up for the free shows in New York's Central Park, the Lincoln Park Zoo in Illinois and Miami, Florida, among others, include Arrested Development, Menudo, Big Head Todd + the Monsters, Toots + The Maytals, Ricky Skaggs and Los Lonely Boys.
