STARR TO COLLABORATE WITH MCCARTNEY AND DYLAN?
RINGO STARR is set to join his BEATLES bandmate SIR PAUL MCCARTNEY in the studio - to record an all-star collaboration with music legend BOB DYLAN, according to a U.K. newspaper.
Reports last month (May09) claimed MCCartney and Dylan are planning to record a duet this summer (09) after both previously expressed a desire to work together.
And now Starr reportedly wants to join the pair's new musical venture.
A source tells Britain's Daily Express newspaper, "Ringo is mainly based in Los Angeles, close to where both Paul and Bob also have homes. The word is Ringo is likely to play drums on a couple of tracks once Paul and Bob have put some songs together."
MCCartney and Starr performed together for the first time this century at the Change Begins Within concert in New York in April (09) - and reunited again on Monday (01Jun09) to promote the upcoming The Beatles: Rock Band videogame.
