STAR WARS GETS THE FAMILY GUY TREATMENT
The upcoming fifth season of cult cartoon series FAMILY GUY will begin with an hour-long retelling of the STAR WARS saga - featuring the show's regulars.
Star Wars creator George Lucas has given the quirky idea his blessing because he's a fan of the show.
Family Guy patriarch Peter Griffin will play Han Solo in the new show, while beloved baby Stewie will play Darth Vader.
The new season of Family Guy, which will begin later this year (07), will be extra special for creator Seth MCFarlane - as the series will feature the 100th episode of the cult cartoon.
