STAR TREK CAPTAINS TEAM UP FOR VIDEO GAME

LATEST: All five STAR TREK captains are teaming up for the first time for the videogame STAR TREK: LEGACY. The game will feature voiceover work and likeness rights from Star Trek's WILLIAM SHATNER, THE NEXT GENERATION's PATRICK STEWART, DEEP SPACE NINE's AVERY BROOKS, VOYAGER's KATE MULGREW and ENTERPRISE's SCOTT BAKULA. The game, which spans all five Star Trek series, is the first project to bring all actors who played the captains on the show together in character. Producers of the project hope the game will revitalise audience interest in the franchise leading up to the making of the 11th Star Trek film, which MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE III filmmaker JJ ABRAMS is attached to direct. Star Trek: Legacy will be released in October (06) and will coincide with the 40th anniversary of the Star Trek franchise.
