SQUEEZE STAR SINGS ABOUT HIS BATTLE WITH THE BULGE

SQUEEZE star CHRIS DIFFORD has penned an ode to his weight struggles on his new album THE LAST TEMPTATION OF CHRIS.
The Cool For Cats singer/songwriter admits it's getting harder and harder for him to stay in shape as he gets older - and he thought he'd share his pain with fans in the song Fat As A Fiddle.
He came up with the title and the lyrics during a very depressing experience at his local gym.
He tells WENN, "The gym is a very depressing neighbourhood to be in; I find it quite a struggle. It was written when I was in the gym and I was sitting on an exercise bike and a guy sitting next to me on a bike was twice my size.
"I said to him, 'How long you been coming to the gym?' and he said, 'Four years.' I just thought, 'There's no hope and went for a pizza straight away!'
"Being thin has always been a battle for me. I always thought it was important to look good and I work out on stage when we're on tour... but I can eat cake with the best of them."
