SPRINGSTEEN WILL PERFORM AT HALL OF FAME SHOW
BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN will perform as scheduled at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 25th Anniversary concert in New York on Thursday (29Oct09) after scrapping a show in Kansas City on Monday night (26Oct09) to mourn a dead cousin.
The rocker and his E Street Band cancelled the gig on short notice after Lenny Sullivan, an assistant road manager for the group, died unexpectedly before the show.
It was feared Springsteen would join a sick Eric Clapton and pull out of the anniversary concerts on Thursday and Friday, but event organisers have confirmed The Boss will appear.
