SPRINGSTEEN DONATED SONG FOR WRESTLER BUDDY ROURKE

Rocker BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN wrote a song especially for MICKEY ROURKE's new movie THE WRESTLER and gave it to director DARREN ARONOFSKY to use for free.
Springsteen discovered Aronofsky was struggling to raise funds to make the movie, because he refused potential backers' demand he drop Rourke for a bigger name star.
So the Born in the USA star stepped in and donated a song.
Aronofsky reveals, "They were friends back in the day. They've been kind of on and off.
"Bruce said, I've been hoping for Mickey to get a chance like this, and I just want to help."
