SPINAL TAP ROCKERS HEAD OUT ON ACOUSTIC TOUR

The stars of cult movie THIS IS... SPINAL TAP are to hit the road "unwigged and unplugged".
Actors, musicians and comedy icons Christopher Guest, Michael MCKean and Harry Shearer will be leaving their flamboyant costumes and electric guitars at home for an upcoming 30-city acoustic tour across America.
The trio will perform music from their incarnations as heavy rockers Spinal Tap and the folk combo The Folksmen.
A statement from the band reads, "You'll never hear Tap songs less loud."
The tour starts in April (09) in Vancouver.
MCKean says, "With this being the 25th Anniversary of the film This is... Spinal Tap, we thought this would be a fun and, at the same time, a little challenging, as we have never performed as ourselves. Think of the evening as three old friends playing songs in your living room."
