SPICE GIRLS 'OFFERED £5M REUNION GIG'

The Spice Girls have been offered £1 million each for a one-off Las Vegas-style reunion gig, the Sun reports.

According to the newspaper the girls famous for hits such as Wannabe, 2 Become 1 and Who Do You Think You Are could be reuniting at Christmas time for a spectacular show set to thrill fans of the Girl Power singers.

And the show could also be a nice little earner for Scary, Baby, Ginger and Posh if only Sporty could agree to the show.

It is thought that Melanie Chisholm has been reluctant to sign up to the show but is beginning to warm to the idea of the show since meeting up with her former band mates at the christening of Geri Halliwell's daughter Bluebell Madonna last month.

David Beckham's 32nd birthday party in the swanky London restaurant Cipriani set the backdrop to business talks among the girls who split in 2000 with everyone except Mel C in attendance.

"They have been offered a fortune to do the show and they want to do it," an insider told the newspaper.

Since the split almost all of the girls swapped the popstar life for motherhood with Emma Bunton due to have her own Baby Spice by the summer. However childbirth isn't going to stop Emma from joining the girls for the reunion gig.

"Emma is due to give birth to her first baby in the summer which would leave her enough time to get back into shape and to rehearse," the insider reported.
