SPICE GIRLS ADD TWO UK DATES TO REUNION TOUR

The Spice Girls have confirmed two more UK dates for their worldwide reunion tour.

The girl group will play extra shows at London's O2 Arena on January 15th and 16th, after the original date sold out in an amazing 38 seconds.

Over a million UK fans registered for the December 15th show at the former Millennium Dome and were alerted by text and email when the tickets were finally released.

So quickly were the tickets snapped up that three additional dates - December 16th and 18th and January 2nd – were added to the Spice Girls' 2007/8 world tour.

And the group have now been inspired to add two further gigs.

The tour - which kicks off in Vancouver on December 2nd - will be the first time the original five members have performed on stage together since Geri Halliwell quit in May 1998.

Having sold 55 million records under the stewardship of music svengali Simon Fuller, the five-piece have fans across the globe and will pass through Canada, the US, the UK, Germany, Spain, China, Hong Kong, Australia, South Africa and Argentina on their reunion tour.

The group's greatest hits album is to be released on November 12th, a week later than originally planned.

The CD had been due for release on the same day as Westlife's new album, but the girls have pulled out of the chart clash.

Westlife's Coast to Coast sold 163,000 more copies than the Spice Girls' Forever when the two were released on the same day in November 2000.
