SPENCER BREAKS LAWS AND RULES TO GET TO THE GOLDEN GLOBES

HOUSE star JESSE SPENCER broke Los Angeles road laws and Golden Globe rules to get to Sunday's (11Jan09) prizegiving - after he found himself stuck in traffic.
The Aussie star's limo driver had no idea where to drop his passenger off for the event at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, and so he drove around for more than 30 minutes - eventually falling into line behind a queue of other celebrity vehicles.
And impatient Spencer wasn't about to sit and wait.
He says, "It was going to be about an hour to get in... I jumped out, jaywalked across Wilshire (Boulevard), with cops everywhere and then they (Globe organisers) wouldn't let me in because I didn't have credentials.
"I walked around, snuck in the back way... I just don't like lines."
