SPECTOR TRIAL DELAYED AGAIN
Legendary producer PHIL SPECTOR's murder trial has been delayed yet again - and will now not convene until March next year (07). Los Angeles Superior Court Judge LARRY FIDLER switched the commencement date following a request from Spector's legal team, who need more time to commission and complete forensic tests. The case was originally set to get underway last month (SEP06), but was then pushed back to January (07). Spector is free on $1 million (GBP555,500) bail as he awaits trial on charges of murdering his actress girlfriend LANA CLARKSON in 2002.
