SPEARS SET FOR TWO-WEEK LONDON RESIDENCY

BRITNEY SPEARS is reportedly set to follow in the footsteps of PRINCE and KYLIE MINOGUE by playing a two-week residency at London's O2 Arena next year (09).
The Toxic hitmaker is preparing for a mammoth world tour in 2009 on the back of her forthcoming album, Circus, which is released in December (08).
And now, according to British newspaper The Sun, Spears has negotiated a deal with the London venue which will see her show based there for 14 nights.
Artists including Prince, Kylie Minogue and the Spice Girls have all completed a residency at the arena. The live shows will be Spears' first gigs in the U.K. since 2004's Onyx Hotel Tour.

I hope that she does great and people give her a break. I also hope that people hit by the economy catch a break too so they can afford tickets for her upcoming tour. Found thid: 1.A family in Western Michigan has found a way to deal with the failing economy. They are selling their family picture on E-Bay (Item number: 280281951487). The minimum bid starts at $200,000.00. They plan to use the money to pay off their mortgage, loans and credit card debt. Bidding started November 2, 2008 and will continue for 10 days. It's things like this that show maybe the tour won't go so good. People just can't afford extra things like concerts these days.
