BRITNEY SPEARS is selling her California home - so she has "more privacy" to raise her two young sons.
The Toxic hitmaker has put her six-bedroom mansion on the market for $7.9 million (GBP4.27 million) and hopes to find a new property that will give her more privacy and space to raise her two children, Sean Preston, three, and Jayden James, two.
The singer has lived in the house for less than two years - and was forced to leave the property on two occasions after being hospitalised.
Spears' father Jamie, who remains in legal control of his daughter's estate until 31 Dec (08), sought permission from a court in June (08) to sell the home.
He revealed that his daughter was seeking a home that was "lower density, more quiet and less trafficked neighborhood, that is also more accessible to "parks and recreation areas" for her kids.
The house boasts six bedrooms, six-and-a-half bathrooms, three garages, a library, media room and a maid's quarters, and is listed with Sotheby's International Realty.
