SPEARS' REPS: 'LUTFI DEAL IS VOID'

Representatives for BRITNEY SPEARS have blasted SAM LUTFI's allegations he is owed money for his work as her manager, insisting the deal the Toxic singer made with him is void.
Lutfi, who is now banned from contacting Spears under a restraining order, is suing the singer, claiming she and her parents damaged his reputation by allegedy leaking false information about his conduct to the press.
He is also seeking compensation for the period of time he worked as her manager.
But, in new legal documents obtained by TMZ.com, Spears' conservators maintain the pop star doesn't owe Lutfi anything - because an oral contract she made with him means nothing.
Spears' attorneys claims she only agreed to the deal after he made unspecified "false promises" he never delivered upon - thereby nullifying their agreement.
Last month (May09), representatives for the hitmaker filed new papers asking a judge to order Lutfi to pay legal costs stemming from her recent restraining order case against him.
