SPEARS' HOSPITAL STAY EXTENDED
LATEST: BRITNEY SPEARS' hospital stay has been extended by two weeks following the advice of her psychiatrist. The pop star was placed on an initial 72-hour psychiatric hold when she was admitted to UCLA Medical Center on Thursday morning (31Jan08) following an intervention by her shrink and family members. The troubled star is not exactly a model patient, according to reports - she created havoc in the Resnick Neuropsychiatric wing of the hospital on Friday night (01Feb08) when she learned that her father had won temporary control of her legal and financial affairs following an emergency court hearing.

I feel sorry for Britney. I am praying for her. I think that the media should let
her get some rest for a while. Prayer is very positive right now. I hope that she
gets well soon. All I can say to Britney is to remain strong and to put her trust
in God's hands. She is suffering from deep depression and what she needs right now
is someone to listen to her cry. I would not know how to react if custody of the
children were taken away.... Think about it. I am sure people go through this depression
daily. We don't hear about it because we are not superstars. That is all. She is
just as human as we are and we need to pray for her. I hope she reads this message.
