SPEARS DONATES PORTRAIT TO CHARITY
BRITNEY SPEARS and her family have donated an signed painting of the singer to a charity auction.
The large oil painting of the Toxic hitmaker was given to the Los Angeles-based Promises Foundation, which helps provide behavioural health services to women on low incomes and their children.
The picture - by California-based artist Daniel Maltman - is to be sold on internet auction website eBay with a starting price of $10,000 (GBP5,405), and comes with a letter of authenticity from Spears' mother Lynne.
Lisa Rogg, the charity's director, tells People.com, "The Spears family gave us this painting out of their generosity. It was their idea for the auction."

Hi - This is Fran from the Bronx. I am not at all surprised that Brittany donated
a signed picture of herself for an auction that would benefit woman less fortunate
than her. I think Brittany is a wonderful person with a heart of gold. It it too
bad that she is paying Kevin $20,000.00 for child support. I don't understand why
he was given a raise from $15,000.00. I hope Brittany has learned something from
being involved with that parasite. The only wonderful thing that came out of that
relationship is her gourgeous and precious children. In an article last year about child
support, Kevin's despicable lawyer, Mark Vincent stated that if Kevin got custody,
he would not ask for additional money. I guess Mark Vincent is a liar, plus money
hungry, like Kevin. I am in awe of now much Brittany has progressed in last year.
I really never watch the MTV awards, but this year I made sure I was home that night
to watch. She looked grourgeous in her silver dress. I was thrilled that she won
3 awards, she deserved it. It is wonderful that Larry Rudolph is back in her life. I
can't wait for her album to come out.
