SPANDAU BALLET TO ANNOUNCE REUNION ON H.M.S. BELFAST

Eighties hitmakers SPANDAU BALLET are to reveal their reunion and comeback plans onboard H.M.S. Belfast in London on Wednesday (25Mar09).
The True stars announced tentative plans to reform last month (Feb09) but refused to reveal more. They've invited the world's media to join them on the famous ship for "a major announcement".
Spandau Ballet split after a bitter feud in 1989 and the former bandmates have spent a large part of the past 20 years squabbling over royalties. But now it appears they're all friends again.
Frontman Tony Hadley tells Britain's Sunday People newspaper, "The boys are back in town and we can't wait. It's going to be brilliant, we're very excited. But it will be very different to how we used to be.
"Obviously there'll be all the hits, the nostalgia, but there will also be a new take on what Spandau Ballet are about."
The group enjoyed chart success around the globe with hits like True, Gold, To Cut A Long Story Short and Musclebound.
