British actor TIMOTHY SPALL has an ambition to enter politics, but only so he can enjoy the luxurious perks which go with power. The SECRETS AND LIES star is tempted to leave Hollywood for a career in the British Parliament because he wants to use the exclusive pubs and drinking spots Members of Parliament (MPs) have access to. Spall says, "I'd be corrupted by it I should imagine. There are a lot of decent people in it, but they don't get the chance to live out their ideals because the machine erodes a lot of original thought by compromises. "I would like to be a Member of Parliament so I could use the pubs and lovely patio on the Thames."
