SPACEY CONSIDERS THEATRE REALITY SHOW
KEVIN SPACEY is considering allowing TV cameras into his London theatre, to shoot a reality TV documentary.
The Hollywood star has received a number of offers since he took over as artistic director at the capital's Old Vic theatre, but he has always turned them down, fearing it would be unfair on the actors in his plays.
But he admits he is discussing possible projects with TV bosses.
Spacey tells Digital Spy, "Generally they want to come into the rehearsal room and film ad nauseam, but the rehearsal room is sacred - actors need to try things and feel they can fail.
"The notion you can get actors of name and reputation to allow cameras in is very difficult. But discussions are still ongoing, ideas are being thrown around. I think there are ways to be able to do it."
