SOUTH PARK PAYS TRIBUTE TO 'CHEF' HAYES
SOUTH PARK creators TREY STONE and MATT PARKER have paid tribute to the late ISAAC HAYES - by posting a message on the show's website.
The soul legend voiced the character of Chef in the cartoon from 1998, before he was written out of the script in 2006.
Hayes parted ways with the comedy duo after he objected to an episode ridiculing the controversial Scientology religion, of which the singer was a follower.
Their split resulted in Chef being brutally killed off in the cartoon.
However, following Hayes' death on Sunday (10Aug08), Stone and Parker have posted a simple 'in memoriam' tribute on website southparkstudios.com.
