SON OF KRS-ONE FOUND DEAD
RANDY HUBBARD PARKER, the son of rapper KRS-ONE, has been discovered dead in his apartment in Atlanta, Georgia. He was 23.
A spokesperson for the Fulton County Medical Examiner's office announced Parker died on Friday (06Jul07) from a gunshot wound to the head, and listed the cause of death as suicide.
Parker's mother and wife of KRS-One, Simone Parker, says Randy's death was related to severe depression.
The family is planning a memorial service in Florida on 18 July (07), which would have been his 24th birthday, according to MTV.
KRS-One was on tour abroad when his son died.
