SO SOLID CREW'S MAFFIA GETS DRIVING BAN

British singer LISA MAFFIA has been handed a year-long driving ban after she failed a road-side sobriety test.
In April (09), the former member of rap group So Solid Crew was pulled over in London by police, who suspected she was driving under the influence of alcohol.
Maffia, who lives in Kent, England, told the West London Magistrates' Court on Wednesday (05Aug09) she had consumed two glasses of champagne at a friend's birthday party at a nightclub in Kensington.
A urine sample taken shortly after she was stopped showed Maffia was over the legal limit of alcohol consumption.
A judge ruled she will be banned from driving for 12 months, ordering her to pay a fine of $233 (£155), which the sobbing star offered to pay immediately.
