SNOW PATROL CLOSE T AS FANS PREPARE FOR NEXT YEAR
Snow Patrol headlined T in the Park with their keyboard player Tom Simpson after the band member had been held by police the day before.
He was detained by Middlesex police on Saturday in connection with a failed court appearance in Glasgow, but was later released to play the show.
The Scottish festival went down well with the 80,000 fans in attendance, all of which enjoyed sets from Arctic Monkeys, the Kooks, Bloc Party, Babyshambles and Razorlight.
Amy Winehouse pulled out of the event, citing "exhaustion" for cancelling her high-profile appearance.
The star's representatives said a year of touring heavily had taken its toll and a doctor had advised the singer to rest.
No sooner had the Scottish festival concluded than early-bird tickets for next year's bash were set to go on sale.
As is typical with most pre-sales, the tickets will be available for a short period for this year's prices.
The ticket sale begins tomorrow at 09:00 BST for the July 12th 2008 festival.
