SNIPES 'ACCOMPLICE' ARRESTED IN PANAMA

LATEST: A man indicted alongside WESLEY SNIPES on eight counts of tax fraud was arrested in Panama yesterday (31OCT06) and flown to Florida where he will appear in an Orlando court today (01NOV06). EDDIE RAY KAHN stands accused of promoting tax dodging schemes which Snipes allegedly used in a bid to cheat the US government out of $12 million (GBP6.4 million) in false refund claims. Court papers allege Kahn's company American Rights Litigators stood to receive 20 per cent of any refund Snipes was granted. The BLADE action star has been shooting new horror movie GALLOWWALKER in Namibia since August (06) and has no immediate plans to return to America, where a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
