SMITH'S ESTATE HIT WITH UNPAID TAX CLAIM
The executors of ANNA NICOLE SMITH's estate have been hit by an unexpected bill - the late model owes the state of California more than $43,000 (£28,000) in unpaid taxes.
The State Franchise Tax Board has filed a creditor's claim against the late star - who died of an accidental overdose in 2007 - for back taxes accrued before her death.
The Board claims Smith owed $43,280.66 (£28,853) in taxes from her 2007 tax return, plus penalty charges and added interest, according to TMZ.com.
