SMITH'S CHARLIE'S ANGELS DOUBLE STABLE AFTER SHOOTING

The stunt double for CHARLIE'S ANGELS star JACLYN SMITH is in a stable condition in a Central American hospital after she was shot in the abdomen.
Early reports on Tuesday (22Sep09) suggested Smith had shot herself while on vacation in Honduras, but the actress quickly denied she had been injured. In a statement she explained she was "safe and home with her family".
The injured woman was, in fact, the actress' lookalike former stunt double Sandra Franklin, who sustained a bullet wound to her stomach during an incident at her home on Roatan Island, off the coast of Honduras.
