SLUMDOG STAR TEAMS UP WITH KIDMAN IN DRINKS COMMERCIAL

SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE child star RUBINA ALI is continuing on the road to stardom - she has landed a role in a commercial with NICOLE KIDMAN.
The eight-year-old actress was plucked from the slums of Mumbai, India to star in Danny Boyle's Oscar-winning movie, and her father hopes that her rising profile could lead to a better life for the family.
Rafiq Ali says, "We are very proud of her and hope she continues to become a big star. Maybe then we will be able to live in a proper house. She was paid more for the ad than the movie."
The advert, for a drinks firm, was produced by Blade Runner director Ridley Scott.
