SLITS REFORM AS A PUNK SUPERGROUP
Former THE SLITS bandmates ARI UP and TESSA POLLITT have reformed the act as a punk supergroup with ex members of the SEX PISTOLS and ADAM + THE ANTS. Up and Pollitt's new-look Slits features former Pistols drummer PAUL COOK and ADAM ANT's longtime sidekick MARCO PIRRONI, as well as the punk stars' daughters. The group has recorded the first Slits tracks since 1981, when the band split. The Slits are planning a US tour in October and November (06).
