SLASH SWAPPED SNAKES FOR KIDS

Rocker SLASH was forced to give up his huge collection of snakes when his wife PERLA became pregnant with their first child. The former Guns N' Roses guitarist amassed a vast menagerie of the reptiles that dominated his California home.
But he concedes it wasn't the safest environment to raise a child.
He tells Blender magazine, "I got rid of all my snakes when Perla was in her last trimester - it's just trouble waiting to happen, with a little boy. But when I was a bachelor, the whole house was just snake cages. All my snakes were 10 to 20 feet long, and I had about 80 of them."
Slash and Perla Ferrer have two sons, London, six and Cash, four.
