SLASH RECRUITS BONHAM, JOHN 5 TO HIS BAND

VELVET REVOLVER star SLASH has named part-time LED ZEPPELIN drummer JASON BONHAM to his new group which will debut at the Quart Festival in Norway on 30 June (09).
Slash's band will also feature Rob Zombie guitarist John 5 and ex-Jane's Addiction star Chris Chaney.
The group will be fronted by former Scars on Broadway star Frankie Perez, who was once among the frontrunners to take over from Scott Weiland as the singer for Velvet Revolver.
The eclectic Norwegian music festival will also feature Ozzy Osbourne, Fergie and Rolling Stones guitarist Ron Wood.
