SKINNER REVEALS THE STREETS' RETIREMENT PLANS

THE STREETS star MIKE SKINNER has cut short the British band's music career - by declaring their forthcoming fifth album will be their last.
The British rapper broke the news to fans via the band's online blog this week (begs02Jun08), while promoting their fourth album Everything Is Borrowed, which is due out later this year (08).
Talking about the band's new disc, he says: "If you like The Streets you are about to experience the peaceful positive vibes that come after a disturbing work such as the last you heard.
"(But) the final Streets album (the fifth one) will be dark and futuristic. This could not be further from the album you're about to hear, but it's what is on my mind at the moment."
The Streets' last album The Hardest Way To Make An Easy Living was released in 2006.
