THE STREETS star MIKE SKINNER is planning to swap music for movies - the British rapper wants to write his own film screenplay.
The Dry Your Eyes hitmaker is set to release a new album, Computers and Blues, next year (10) but he is convinced his music career won't last much longer - and he would prefer to quit while he is ahead.
Skinner wants to channel his creativity into the film industry.
He says, "If I just kept going (in music) forever, it would all start to get repetitive.
"I'd like to write a film. We've been doing a lot of music videos, so we've kind of got a little team going on that I'd like to channel into a short film and then a feature length one."
