SIX WEEKS FOR SWIFT AS SHE TIES 50'S U.S. ALBUM CHART MARK
TAYLOR SWIFT has scored a sixth week at the top of the U.S. album charts as her album FEARLESS continues to dominate sales well into the New Year.
The country star shifted just 72,000 copies of the album in the past week, but it was enough to keep Nickelback, Kanye West and Beyonce off the top of the charts.
Fearless has become the first album to spend six weeks at number one since 50 Cent's The Massacre in 2005.
Nickelback's Dark Horse jumps up to two, while West's 808s and Heartbreak remains at three. Beyonce's I Am... Sasha Fierce and the soundtrack to hit movie Twilight round out the top five.
The top debut belongs to DJ Skribble, whose Total Club Hits 2 enters the countdown at 16.
