SIR PAUL AGREES TO PAY HEATHER'S RENT

As the SIR PAUL MCCARTNEY and HEATHER MILLS divorce saga continues, it seems Heather has won the first round after Sir Paul agreed to pay her rent of £2,000 a week.

Recent reports in the Mirror claim the former BEATLES legend had to hand over the money after the agreement was "negotiated in court", with Heather telling friends on a ski trip this week: "I never want to see him again. I can't even bring myself to speak to him."

The newspaper also claims that Heather's former fiancé, Hong Kong businessman Marcus Stapleton, was one of the 40 guests invited on the ski trip in Slovenia, with one insider admitting they were "very chummy".

And GIRLS ALOUD singers CHERYL TWEEDY and KIMBERLEY WALSH have waded into the showbiz row, ranting to OK! magazine that the former model has no right to demand money Sir Paul made before they were married.

Cheryl said: "Yeah, so she has a lifestyle to maintain, but she really should have worked at her marriage more and she might have maintained it.

"All I know is he has been a legend for years and earned a hell of a lot of money. And she shouldn't be entitled to the stuff he made before they met."

Kimberley added that Heather must simply be "really bitter".
